Wysiwyg web site softwareWysiwyg web site software is the only way to go when designing web sites as a beginner. The best out there has a split screen where you can view the HTML code on one pane and the wysiwyg view in the other pane. You can see as you design on the wysiwyg and see how the corresponding code on the HTML raw code side shapes up. FrontPage® by Microsoft® is a perfect software solution. It has the split screen (wysiwyg on the top, the code on the bottom) view, a design view, and a raw code view. So, whatever skill level you're at, no worries as FrontPage has you covered Another popular wysiwyg editor is DreamWeaver®. Great program, I can't really pick a favorite between the two wysiwyg web editors, the both rock. The earlier versions somewhat blew because they'd add code and bogus non-needed lines of text and extra tags. The new versions are clean code producing machines. Designing tables in a wysiwyg editor is the bomb. I challenge anyone to design a simple 5 x 5 table in a raw editor against someone using FrontPage. Just no comparison for speed. Yes, some say you shouldn't use tables, they confuse the browser, they aren't spidered right. SCREW THAT NOISE!!! I've used tables since the beginning and they have completely dominated the rankings for our given keywords. Those arguments that tables aren't good are from the CSS goons out there thinking they're the sh*t because they use strictly CSS...
